Frequently we get asked by users how to add records for specific services such as 'Google Apps'. We thought we'd come up with an easy solution for users as instructions provided by these service providers are not always clear and in some cases, simply confusing or incorrect.
'DNS Wizards' are now part of the standard dns editing interface and are available to all users. In the new resource record section, if you click the wand as circled below, a drop down with all the current wizards will be show.
This currently contains several wizards for popular services such as google apps, office365, etc. Simply click the link to have the wizard add all the appropriate records for this service to your domain. You are then set for the service with little or no further editing required. If you have common sets of records you frequently add to domains, you can even create your own wizards. These can be shared with other users if you wish. For records that require customisation with your own domain, you can use variables such as $DOMAIN. Check the knowledge base for future enhancements.
We hope you find this new functionality useful. Should you have any feedback, please let us know.
