Email virus test page

This page provides a real life demonstration of our virus scanning services. We have a perfectly harmless industry standard test virus available for download here. Whilst all virus scanners should detect this virus and produce a warning, the file itself is harmless. Virus test your own servers
 By entering your email address in the box below and clicking the submit button, we'll send you a message containing the above harmless test file. If you receive the message and the attachment has not been removed, or you don't receive at least a warning from your mail server, then you probably have a disaster waiting to happen. This is a simple test virus and should easily be detected by any precautions already in place.

IMPORTANT: Whilst the above file is an industry standard safe test for all the leading virus scanners, we take no responsibility whatsoever for anything that may happen to your systems as a result of this test.

The test mail will be sent immediately. Depending on how your system is configured, you may have to wait a while until your message is received. If you don't get the mail and get a warning from your own system that we tried to send you something that was infected, then well done, you have at least some protection in place. Don't rest easy though, this doesn't mean you are safe. This is a very simple test and it takes a lot of effort and resources to maintain a very reliable system.
