Microtech Environmental Policy
Microtech Limited is committed to minimising the impact of its activities on the environment. We seek to promote commonsense good practices by our own staff and others.
The key points of its strategy to achieve this are:
- minimise waste and energy usage by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
- minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its vehicles, premises, and the source of their power requirements.
- actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
- meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.
- make use an accredited programs where available to offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activities.
- manage energy usage by making use of alternative energy efficient servers, electronics, and computing methods where ever possible
- continuously seek to improve our environmental performance
Our directors are keen to ensure that their personal and business activities have as little negative affect on the environment as possible. We are well aware of our responsibility towards the protection of the environment, and encourage others to make the same efforts.
