Add an RSS feed to Microsoft Office Outlook 2007

To add an RSS feed to Microsoft Outlook 2007, perform the following tasks

  1. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
  2. On the RSS Feeds tab, click New.
  3. In the New RSS Feed dialog box, type the URL your want to add, or cut and past from the selection below.

    For the general news feed use http://www.mtgsy.net/mtgsynews.xml

    For the Support, status, and service announcements feed use http://www.mtgsy.net/status.xml

    For your personal service renewals and alerts feed use the following link (right click and 'copy link to copy to clipboard)

  4. Click Add.
  5. Click OK.

Add an RSS feed through Windows Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox

When you use Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Office Outlook 2007, you can add RSS Feeds from either program as well as view the feeds in either program. You can also use the same technique to add feeds ain various other browsers and programs such as Firefox.
